Hoa Binh is a land with abundant resources such as forest resources, tourism resources, minerals, mineral water and animal fauna.

Forest resources: Hoa Binh has over 200 thousand hectares of forests with rich flora, including many valuable timber such as ironwood, teaks, cheeses, chopped sausages, gnashing, slices of flowers, ... In forests There are also many kinds of plants that give tubers, fruits, feed humans and make medicine. Currently, Hoa Binh forest has 400 valuable medicinal plants.  

Located in the bordering area of ​​03 fauna of the North, the Northwest, Truong Son Bac and Northeast, the fauna of Hoa Binh forest is quite diverse. In particular, the majority of animals (animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians) are the settlement species. 

Tourism resources: Hoa Binh has many caves and hot springs and many valuable historical, cultural, architectural and artistic monuments; Da river lake and Hoa Binh hydroelectric plant are attractive tourist destinations in all directions. As a place of convergence and living of many ethnic groups (Muong, Thai, Dao, Tay, Mong, ...), Hoa Binh has a diverse culture, rich in identity with many types of festive and turmeric culture. Folk art, customs, traditions and professions are rich and unique.  

Minerals: In Hoa Binh underground, there are many kinds of precious minerals such as coal, zinc, asbestos, white matches, gold, limestone, ... Of which, it is worth noting that the fat coal in Kim Boi has Relatively large reserves, is a material needed for metallurgy. Gold placer is scattered in many areas of the province. Limestone and blue stone with abundant reserves are distributed in Luong Son, Ky Son, Lac Thuy districts and Hoa Binh town.   Mineral water is also a valuable resource of Hoa Binh, distributed in Ha Bi and Sao Bay (Kim Boi district) and Quy Hoa (Lac Son district). The composition of mineral water is divided into 02 types: bicarbonate mineral water - Sulfatecanxi and mineral water sulphatcanxi, temperature 37 - 410C.
